Chain and Doelle Lakes
1.5 hours east of Seattle, 22 mile there-and-back hike into the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area, and a stretch of PCT hiking. Start at Stevens Pass, hike south to Josephine lake, keep heading south till we switchback east up and over to Chain Lakes, continue east to Doelle Lake. Red is the trail – purple is closed.
