New York City Trip Part 9 of 10: Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Saturday morning, August 29th 2015. I will go right ahead and say it; this is one of the most impressive places I have ever visited. We explored the museum for about 5 hours… 4 hours roaming around at our leisure, and then 1 hour running around like maniacs trying to catch a glimpse of as much of the rest of the place as possible. I suppose we should have learned our lesson by now, but most of these New York museums are truly enormous, and should not share a day with any other destinations. This one probably being the most severe example. I think we maybe took in about 1/10th of the place, and even that might be too generous.
